Professional Background
Juliet is a member of both the Pennsylvania and West Virginia bars and is admitted to practice before the United State District Courts for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the Southern and Northern Districts of West Virginia, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Prior to opening her own practice, Juliet was an associate at both two large Pittsburgh law firms where her practice was concentrated in litigation involving commercial transactions, resolution of contract disputes, real estate, securities, products liability and personal injury defense. Juliet also gained significant experience in the judiciary where she was responsible for advising an appellate judge and drafting appellate opinions concerning a wide variety of legal issues ranging from criminal law, juvenile law, contract law, constitutional law, family law, real estate law and judicial administration. Juliet also has experience in drafting wills, durable financial powers of attorney and healthcare powers of attorney. Additionally, she has organized and presented seminars for clients and the public concerning a variety of legal issues. Juliet has also been selected by the National Association of Securities Dealers as a neutral arbitrator and has served as an arbitrator for the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. While in law school, Juliet served as a law clerk for the Honorable Eunice Ross of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County. Juliet also worked as a law clerk for the United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania and a small Pittsburgh law firm. Juliet received her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Administration of Justice and a minor in psychology.
